When the star-studded Blushing boutique finally hit Broadway in late 2018, the star power was huge.
The opening of the show brought in nearly $400 million, and it also helped boost the local economy, according to the nonprofit Blushing Business Improvement District.
The Blushing brand is one of Broadway’s hottest properties, with an estimated $30 million in sales in 2019 alone, according the nonprofit.
It’s owned by Broadway’s nonprofit, the Blushing Center for the Arts, and features several of the best performing musicals on Broadway.
The theater also features a performance by the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway cast of The Big Short and many of Broadways most iconic songs, including “It’s My Party” and “Happy Birthday.”
The new Blushing is located at 15 West 42nd Street in New York City, near the Empire State Building.
The boutique’s main lobby is decorated with a huge portrait of the actress Grace Kelly and its signature fireplace.
It also has a bar that seats about 120 people.
Ahead of the premiere, the blushing-themed venue opened its doors to the public and invited the public to sign up to play at the venue.
The event also featured performances by the musical, which was written and directed by the late Christopher Guest, who starred in the film of the same name.
The blushing shop has become a hub for Broadway, where it has become one of the most popular destinations for Broadway performers, according an ABC News report.
Blushing is one the largest and most successful venues for Broadway in New Jersey, and the nonprofit is looking to expand to other locations.
